what kinds of ingredients do you use?

our goods are nontoxic, biodegradable, microbiome-friendly + 100% naturally fragranced. we use gentle, whole ingredients that work without disrupting natural systems, or stripping bodies of the natural oils and peptides that they work so hard to create.



by contrast, many personal care products on shelves today are laced with harmful synthetics and chemicals that have the potential to harm our bodies and our environment.



our goods are made with integrity. we avoid any ingredients that have the potential to be carcinogenic, endocrine disruptors, environmentally harmful, damaging to dna or cells, neurotoxic, harmful to organs, or reproductively harmful.


are you products "clean"? what does "clean" even mean?



"clean" is a term used to describe personal care products that are free from harmful chemicals. "clean" has taken many forms over time. but for us, it means that our goods that are respectful of our shared earth, our neighbours, and our bodies. this means that everything we make is free of harmful and synthetic chemicals. 




are your products vegan and cruelty-free?



yes. all of our products are vegan and cruelty-free. we do not conduct or support animal testing of any kind.




are your products organic?



ecologie's products are not certified organic by the usda. our ingredients are of the highest quality and are a mix of usda certified and non-certified organic ingredients. to be certified organic is a long and expensive process, and some small, local suppliers do not find it worthwhile to go though the process.


are your products unisex?



we are a gender inclusive company. our products are designed to be used by every body.




i have an allergy or sensitivities – can i use your products?



our products are formulated for folks with sensitivities. our goods are formulated with pure and natural ingredients. we use no harsh chemicals, preservatives or fillers that tend to irritate sensitive skin.



that said, if you have sensitivities or allergies, we suggest reading the ingredients carefully and doing a small patch test before beginning use of anything new.

where are your products made?



all of our products are made in toronto's west end.




are your products biodegradable? is your packaging recyclable?



yes. all of our formulas are biodegradable, and we have designed our packing to be reusable and recyclable. please properly wash glass bottles and packaging before reusing or recycling.




do you do wholesale orders?



yes. please contact us if you'd like to carry our goods at your shop or small business.




how are your products shipped?



we ship all of our packages plastic free. for more information on processing and shipping times, please see our shipping page.




when will my order by shipped?



we strive to ship online orders out as fast as possible. we often ship packages the same day they are ordered, but please allow 1-2 days for us to process and ship your order.




what if i need my order faster than that?



we can personally deliver orders over $50 in the gta, same or next day. select "gta drop-off" at checkout and leave your phone number for this option.




can i pick up my order?

free local pickup is available in toronto (bloor + dundas west) and ottawa (westboro). please select "pick up" and your preferred location at checkout. when your order is ready, we will send you an email with our address and instructions for pick up.


can i track my shipment?



all orders will include a tracking number. you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your package is dispatched.




do you ship internationally?



yes, we do. please note that if you're making a purchase internationally, you may be charged duties on delivery. if you're having trouble checking out for an international address, please contact us, and we'll help you complete your order.




what is your return policy?



unfortunately, we cannot accept exchanges or returns. if you are unhappy with your order, please contact us and we will do our best to help resolve your issue.

if your package was damaged during shipment, please save the box and products. take a photo of the damaged items and packaging, and contact us as soon as possible.
